It’s been quite a year for us here at Self Interactive; we moved to a bigger office, our founder was named one of Biz417’s “10 For the Next 10”, we have more clients than ever before and we’ve gone from being a sole proprietorship to having enough employees to form a baseball team. With so many new faces our About page really needed an update so, after convincing Tyler that taking all our Instagram account photos doesn’t actually make him a professional, we hired local photographer Jes Scott to take Selfies.

Being as it was in the middle of both a heat wave and a drought, we decided to triple down and also schedule our photo shoot on the day of Earth’s perihelion (the point in our orbit when we are the closest to the sun) to ensure a maximum amount of natural lighting. Turns out – thankfully – professional photographers don’t need the full wattage of the sun’s light to take amazing photos. Check out our updated About page to see for yourself!
